The 2022 London Australian Film Festival closes with the UK theatrical premiere of Renée Webster’s hilarious new Australian comedy, HOW TO PLEASE A WOMAN, continuing our tradition of closing the festival with a feature directorial debut.
When her all-male house cleaning business spirals out of control, a mature woman, played by Sally Phillips (BRIDGET JONES’ DIARY, SMACK THE PONY), must acknowledge her own appetite if she is to make a new life for herself. A genuine crowd-pleaser, this film will lead you on a precarious, often hilarious and revealing journey into the vulnerable world of what women really want and how hard it can be to get it right.
This special Closing Gala event will feature an in-person introduction and post-screening Q&A with the film’s star, Sally Phillips, and producer Judi Levine.
