The 2026 London Australian Film Festival continues with a showcase of new short films from down under, running the full range of styles and genres to give you a taste of new and emerging screen talents from Australia

This short film session will feature dramas, comedies, animation and more, dealing with a range of contemporary issues, from how to handle the death of a loved one, to what to do with a troublesome bird that calls your backyard their home, or an equally troublesome bandmate who won’t keep their mouth shut!

A number of the filmmakers represented will join us for a short Q&A after the screening.

The 2026 London Australian Film Festival runs from 16-19 July at Finsbury Park Picturehouse.

Aussie snacks, sweets & gifts will be on sale in the foyer throughout the festival, with a raffle taking place before every screening.
